As I listened to Dutch Sheets’ “Give Him Fifteen” this week He explained how Gods number 17 is the number of “Completeness/Victory”.
April (Nissan in Hebrew) is considered the first month on their calendar (according to the Torah). Also, the 17th is a memorable day in that it’s when the Jewish people crossed over into the promised land, and the day the ark landed on Mt. Arart, and also the day Jesus resurrected. There are many other memorable events that occurred on the 17th. The creation happened on that date also.
Gods numbering system is a stable occurrence all through Scripture. Studying into these numbers can be very exciting.
