It’s been a busy couple of weeks but we got it all in! It was so much fun but each day we were tired and met many people from all walks of life. Maybe some time soon, I can reflect on all of it day by day.
Everywhere I went people were so kind to me. I will tell you one thing. I don’t think I’ve ever signed my name so many times.
The first event was at Abundant Life Fellowship and let me tell you. The people there were so overwhelmingly good to me. After Pastor Jeff brought me up to talk about my book, Pastor Ben spoke and his message was so good. And then the book signing in the hallway was so many memories being recalled, signing books they already purchased ahead of time in their bookstore, and the line stretched all the way back to the sanctuary. I was floored.
On the last book signing event, we were at The Gospel Bookstore in Berlin, Ohio, there were a group of older Amish gentlemen drinking their coffee and talking. I strolled over and gave them some of my Dutch and we had laughs and good conversation for a while. I definitely reconnected with my Amish culture, that day.
Who knows, maybe I will write a book about the book tour! Only kidding, of course.
If anyone asks if I would do it again, YES, absolutely!
